The Hall

The Hall is a state-of-the-art auditorium, an ideal venue for international symposiums, public programmes, congresses and events that have sustainability objectives at their core.

The Hall

With its 230 seats and state-of-the-art technical equipment, The Hall has been thought to be a venue where The Human Safety Net can amplify the global conversation about the issues that it works on, such as early childhood development, refugee integration, social impact, social inclusion, and social entrepreneurship.

The Hall is meant to be centre of thought leadership and debate in the field of social innovation, a place to nurture social impact for a sustainable future, a gathering place for all THSN's NGO partners, as well as other organizations working in this sector around the world.

Furthermore The Hall offers a warm welcome to the citizens of Venice, supporting the city's vibrant cultural and social life.

At the heart of the calendar of The Home of The Human Safety Net are those events that address issues close to our programmes and bring together industry professionals, academics, researchers. entrepreneurs and beneficiaries guided by the convinction that collaboration is key and the whole is always greater than the sum of the parts.

Major institutions hosted included UN agencies UNDP and IOM, Ashoka, Impact Europe, Porticus Foundation, Centre for Entrepreneurs, Assifero, Vital Voices, Philea, Europa Nostra and Centro per la Salute del Bambino. One of the committments made at the inauguration was to provide a new open space for the local community. This is why The Home of The Human Safety Net regularly hosts book presentations, debates, concerts, theatre readings and meetings on social impact and sustainability.

Companies, organizations and institutions can also rent the auditorium to organize their events and thus support the Foundation's programmes.
